Our Experience
This isn't our first time around the block
In three decades we've seen just about everything. Painting streets polka-dots for a live action remake; sinking freeways that need to be salvaged without the public knowing; helping spaceships (yes, more than one) drive down the street. Not to mention airports, parades, marathons, and of course buildings of ever shape and color. Whatever your project, we're ready for it.

Parcel 44 Project
Parcel 44 Project - The project involved construction of eight buildings totaling 91,760 square feet of commercial space, 141 boat slips, 5 end ties and 57 dry storage spaces. The property, which covers nearly 10 acres on land and 4.7 acres along the water, is located off Admiralty Way, between Mindanao and Bali Ways in Marina del Rey. The project includes a Trader Joe's Market, West Marine boating retailer, several high-end restaurants, retail offerings and boater accommodations. There is parking for up to 462 vehicles and 100 bicycles. We prepared the permanent signing and striping plan for the streets around the project site, the permanent signing and striping plan for the bike path adjacent to the project site, and we prepared two traffic signal modification plans.
LACMA David Geffen Galleries
LACMA Project - David Geffen Galleries - The project includes construction of a building totaling 347,500 square feet over 3.5 acres. Replacing four aging buildings, the design places all of the artwork on a single, open galley level, inviting visitors to experience a continuous exhibition, elevated 30 feet in the air. The project spans Wilshire Blvd just east of Fairfax Ave in the City of Los Angeles. We prepared temporary signing and striping and temporary traffic signal plans in support of the construction of the new building including traffic control design plans specifically for the portion of the building that spans Wilshire Blvd.
LA Metro Regional Connector
LA Metro's Regional Connector Transit Project - The project includes construction of a 1.9-mile long light rail tunnel for the Los Angeles Metro Rail system in Downtown Los Angeles. It connects the A and E lines with the former L Line. The A and E lines previously both terminated at 7th Street/Metro Center station, coming from Long Beach and Santa Monica, respectively, while the L Line ran through Little Tokyo/Arts District to either Azusa or East Los Angeles. Now the A and E lines continue together through new stations at Grand Avenue Arts/Bunker Hill, Historic Broadway, and Little Tokyo/Arts District. From there, they diverge on the former L Line toward Azusa and East Los Angeles, respectively. The project provides a one-seat ride into the core of Downtown for passengers on those lines who previously needed to transfer, thus reducing or altogether eliminating many transfers of passengers traveling across the region via Downtown Los Angeles. We prepared temporary signing and striping and temporary traffic signal plans in support of the cut and cover portion of the project, primarily on Alameda St between 1st St and Temple St, on 2nd St between Broadway and Spring St, and on Flower St between 3rd St and 7th St.
